EH! x The Face Shop

Yesterday I went to this beauty workshop by EH! magazine in partnership with The Face Shop Malaysia at The KL Journal Hotel, Bukit Bintang. Patutnya pergi dengan Hasnur but she bailed on me last minute coz apparently when she said she can go, she forgot about her mum's birthday *rolling eyes*

Anyways...

I found out about the event on EH!'s instagram and aku terus la ajak si Senor ni since she loves going to events jugak. Boleh pulak dia lupa birthday mak dia. Tengok la dia even replied at the post itself (ugh dia memang nak kena tau). Btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTY!

I mean, that's a great deal kan? Just pay RM15-RM20 and not only you get to learn new makeup tips and tricks, you also get a free goodie bag worth RM100+. Berbaloi gila if you ask me hahah.

I told my sis about this so dia pun ajak la kawan dia sekali. So we went there bertiga je laa. Bergaduh jugak la nak sampai ke sana sebab her GPS didn't work la apa la. Sampai je sana, we registered and not long after, I saw Cili. Yes, the Cili from cilibling. Aku excited gila weh! And she's even prettier in real life like wtf she's a walking life-sized barbie I tell you! Tapi sebab macam nobody approached her, aku pun ala segan la hikhik.

So the event started about 9:30am. A staff from TFS One Utama gave a brief talk la about their products and their best sellers and what not. Then, makeup demo by Cili omg aku sumpah excited taktau nak cakap apa dah hahaha. Tapi malangnya aku tak berapa nampak sebab aku duduk belakang sikit and my lenses are old and dah jadi blurry (dah patut kena buang sebenarnya tapi aku kan pemalas level infinity).

After the demo, there was a 10-minute break before kitorang kena makeup ourselves using the products provided. The best 5 looks chosen by Cili will win a prize. Masa break tu sempat la aku bergambar dengan Cili. Lepas break, kitorang pun start la makeup. I wiped off my makeup and start with using the skincare first. Lupa pulak nak tangkap gambar tp aku ingat sikit2 la what I used.

Masa makeup tu, Cili was really helpful. She went from table to table and asked if we wanted her help or if we have any questions. One time she came to our table and I asked her if I look okay. She said yeah I love your eyeshadow it's shimmery and super cute. Weh sumpah dia comel gila. Jarang aku nak ada girl crush ni. Well she's an exception la. Amyra Rosli pun. I STAN PRETTY AND TALENTED QUEENS!

Then time for her to pick 5 winners. Tina banyak kali cakap "Kak, aku rasa kau menang ni. Kau ada potensi". Tapi aku buat dunno je sbb aku ingat dia menganjing lol. And unexpectedly Cili picked me as one of the winners. Time dia announce tu aku seriously tak percaya. She was at the front with the MC and masa dia pilih aku tu the MC thought that she picked someone from the last row (we were sitting at the second last row) so MC tu pun cakap la the one at the back blabla aku siap pandang belakang kot nak tengok sape menang hahahaha. Then Cili said no, row depan dia (row aku la) then I heard the MC said like blabla brown pastu Tina kata "Kak, kau la kak. Kau pakai tudung coklat." Aku macam, um betul ke ni? Memang bingung! Aku buat gesture "Me?", and Cili nodded. Aku tengok belakang, kot la aku silap. Aku tanya lagi. Aku tak nampak kot, lens aku pulak blurry nak mampus hahahaha adoiii. Tp yang lagi buat aku tak sure sebab the girl next to me was wearing a brown blouse and dia siap cakap yay alhamdulillah kot hahahaha. Happy betul kalau dia happy bagi pihak aku lol. Tina terus tolak aku "Kak bangun la kau la yang menang". Hahahaha sumpah lawak doh. Aku pun naik la stage. Dapat hadiah deluxe skincare set.

Pastu baik aku duduk je, nama aku kena panggil lucky draw hahahaha. Memang rezeki aku murah betul semalam. Dapat lagi satu deluxe skincare set. Then event pun habis, Cili pun balik terus, tak sempat nak bergambar lagi dengan dia and like thank her properly for choosing me. The event continued for another hour, this time buat DIY necklace. I like arts and crafts, but I don't really do them much coz I'm lazy that's why lol. But I like how my necklace turned out. It's kinda pretty (puji diri sendiri).

Then event pun habis, ada sesi bergambar then we went downstairs for lunch. Hotel food is fancy food, me likey likey. Btw check out the cool stuff I got from the event!

What's inside the goodie bag and the two deluxe skincare sets I won. Love!

I'd most defo go to workshops like this in the future. Thank you EH! and The Face Shop for this amazing experience! ♥️
